Creating Account Members

FamTiVi allows you to manage multiple viewer profiles under a single parent account. Member Profiles (also referred to as Learners) represent the individuals in your household who watch scheduled content.

Setting up distinct member profiles ensures that each viewer only sees content curated for their age group, interests, and developmental stage.

1. Why Create Member Profiles?

• Tailored Channel Lineups: Assign different members to different Teams so a preschooler sees early-learning topics while a middle-schooler sees coding or nature documentaries.
• Viewing History: Maintain individual playback progression across recurring scheduled topics.
• Simplified Mobile Login: When launching the mobile viewing app on a child’s tablet, selecting their member profile restricts the interface to their permitted topics.

2. Adding a New Member

To create a member profile:

1. Sign in to your account at famtivi.com .
2. From the dashboard menu, click on Members (or select Create Your Members from the onboarding checklist).
3. Click Add Member to open the profile creation form.
4. Enter the member’s display name or nickname.
5. Set their profile preferences or age group.
6. Click Save Member.

3. Connecting Members to Teams

A member cannot view scheduled Topics until they are associated with at least one Team:

1. Navigate to Teams in the dashboard.
2. Locate the target team card and click the Choose Members button.
3. Check the box next to the member’s profile and save.
4. Ensure the team also has the desired Topics assigned via the Assign Topics dialog.

Now, whenever that member opens the TiVi Player on web or mobile, only the Topics assigned to their teams will appear in their channel list.
