Install FamTiVi on your Android Phone or Tablet

The FamTiVi mobile app for Android is built to turn Android tablets and phones into dedicated, intentional viewing stations for your household.

By eliminating search bars, algorithmic sidebars, and infinite autoplay loops, the Android app brings back the simple channel-flipping experience of classic television—streaming only the educational and creative content you have scheduled.

1. Download from Google Play

Install the official FamTiVi application directly from the Google Play Store:

• Compatibility: Requires Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher. Optimized for both tablet and phone screens.

2. Signing In on Your Android Device

After installing from Google Play:

1. Launch the FamTiVi application from your home screen or app drawer.
2. Sign in using your FamTiVi username and password (the same credentials you use on famtivi.com ).
3. If multiple profiles exist on your account, select the appropriate Member Profile for the person using this device.

3. Using the Viewing Interface

The Android interface is intentionally minimal:

• Channel Surfing: Tap Channel Up or Channel Down to switch between active topics currently broadcasting for your assigned teams.
• Scheduled Timeslots: Content plays strictly according to the calendar schedule configured on the web.
• Tablet Viewing: When mounted or placed on a stand, Android tablets serve as great focused screens for kitchen cooking tutorials, kids’ art time, or study sessions.

4. Managing Channels and Schedules

The Android application is designed solely as a viewer. To configure channels, curate new YouTube playlists, or schedule showtimes:

• Access the management dashboard at famtivi.com from any web browser.
• Schedule adjustments immediately sync with connected viewing devices for subsequent showtimes.
