The TiVi Player is where your curated schedules come alive. Designed with the intuitive simplicity of retro television, it eliminates the endless decision fatigue and algorithmic recommendations of modern video platforms.
1. Accessing the Player on the Web
To watch on a computer, laptop, or connected smart TV browser:
- Sign in to your account at famtivi.com .
- Click the TiVi tab in the main navigation or dashboard menu.
- The player will load the currently broadcasting Topic scheduled for that time slot.
- If multiple topics are scheduled simultaneously across different teams, use the on-screen channel selector to switch between active feeds.
2. Accessing the Player on Mobile Devices
On iOS and Android tablets or phones:
- Open the FamTiVi mobile application or sign in via your mobile web browser.
- Sign in with your account credentials.
- Select your assigned channel to start viewing the scheduled broadcast window.
- The player streams the curated playlist without external recommendations, comments, or autoplay rabbit holes.
3. TiVi Player Features & Behavior
- Linear Progression: For recurring scheduled events, FamTiVi keeps track of playback history. When the next showtime arrives, the playlist automatically resumes from where it left off.
- Natural Boundaries: When a scheduled showtime expires, playback concludes automatically, avoiding the endless autoplay traps that cause household screen-time friction.
- Channel Switching: Switch between scheduled feeds using the channel selector.
- Distraction-Free Interface: All peripheral distractions—recommendations, comments, likes, and external links—are removed.
4. Playback Requirements & Tips
- Internet Connectivity: Video streams depend on an active broadband or Wi-Fi connection.
- Audio & Fullscreen: Web browsers may require an initial user click or tap to enable audio playback according to standard browser autoplay policies.
- Restricted Videos: If a video within a playlist is marked private or restricted by its YouTube creator, review our Troubleshooting Guide to remove or replace it.
